Bitrate per channel: Set the Opus audio bitrate per channel. If set to "Custom", the Opus audio codec supports up to 256 kbit/s per channel with a recommended range of ≥64 kbps.

Audio Channels: Set the number of audio channels. This setting is most useful when downmixing channels (e.g., from 5.1 to stereo).

MPEG was developed in 1993 as MPEG-1 and it was a very popular format for audio and video storage. Today it is the most compatible media format in the world. Opus is a lossy audio coding format developed by the Xiph.Org Foundation and standardized by the Internet Engineering Task Force, designed to efficiently code speech and general audio in a single format, while remaining low-latency enough for real-time interactive communication and low-complexity enough for low-end ARM3 processors. Opus replaces both Vorbis and Speex for new applications, and several blind listening tests have ranked it higher-quality than any other standard audio format at any given bitrate until transparency is reached, including MP3, AAC, and HE-AAC.
