Opus (audio format)
L'Opus est un format de codage audio à perte développé par la Fondation Xiph.Org et standardisé par Internet Engineering Task Force, conçu pour coder efficacement le discours et l'audio général en un seul format, tout en restant assez faible pour la communication interactive en temps réel et faible - assez complexe pour les processeurs ARM3 bas de gamme. L'opus remplace Vorbis et Speex pour de nouvelles applications, et plusieurs tests d'écoute aveugles l'ont classé de meilleure qualité que n'importe quel autre format audio standard à n'importe quel débit jusqu'à ce que la transparence soit atteinte, y compris MP3, AAC et HE-AAC.
